Prices:
For a BC Certified teacher, per hour:
- online: one student at a time: $57.75 (This is the rate for online editing as well.)
- online: two students at a time: $73.50 ($36.75 each)
- online: three students at a time: $94.50 ($31.50 each)
- in person: one student at a time: $68.25
- in person: two students at a time: $84.00 ($42 each)
- in person: three students at a time: $105 plus gst ($35 each)
For a non-teacher, but still a good tutor, per hour:
- online: one student at a time: $47.25 (This is the rate for online editing as well.)
- online: two students at a time: $63 ($31.50 each)
- online: three students at a time: $78.75 ($26.25 each)
- in person: student at a time: $57.75
- in person: two students at a time: $73.50 ($36.75 each)
- in person: three students at a time: $89.25 ($29.75 each)
Initially: We require an up-front payment for five hours of tutoring (possibly negotiable and definitely refundable). This length of time will allow the teacher to make progress with the students in their curriculum as well as teaching them how to teach themselves.
